Have you ever noticed how footballers are always in agony when they fall?

Admittedly, in some cases when two players collide at full speed, it must be painful. But often the bump off each others' shoulders and then one drops, holding their shin (where they wear padding).

Especially beautiful was yesterday's Germany vs. Portugal Euro 2008 game, where Christian Ronaldo fell on his chest, performed a few theatrical rolls, then checked if anyone was watching him, i.e. the referee and THEN started grimacing in agony while clutching his leg.

But who can blame him?
